I have been a fan of Melody Gardot for a very long time, and I think this album is just as good as Worrisome Heart, if not better. I really like all of the songs on My One and Only Thrill, but Baby I’m a Fool, If the Stars Were Mine, Les etoiles, and Over the Rainbow are my favorites.

I adore Melody Gardot. She has the most beautiful voice and unique style. I could listen to her voice any day. She is fresh! Her new CD lives up to her name with her flawless performance and new song styles. Although I love this new album, I favor her first. “Worrisome Heart” was brilliant. It had all the elements a jazz album should have. Not to mention the dark undertones, which I love. If you are new to Melody, I would suggest buying her first cd first. Listen to it and bask in her perfection, than purchase her next best effort.
